Pay rate: $67,000/yr - $71,000/yr

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly dependable. motivated, and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our accounting team. This individual will support day-to-day accounting operations, assist in the month-end close process, and help ensure financial accuracy and compliance across all reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive attitude toward learning and cross-functional collaboration.

 

What You’ll Do:

 

General Accounting Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsible for full-cycle AR process including billing, collections and payment application

Support the month-end and year-end close process and follows accounting procedures

Record bank and credit card transactions in a timely manner

Performs timely and accurate reconciliations of bank accounts and credit cards statements

Reconcile key balance sheet accounts including AP, AR and accrual accounts

Identify and resolve discrepancies promptly

Maintain ASC 842 lease accounting schedules

Post and review journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation

Maintain accurate schedules for prepaids, fixed assets and accruals and ensures proper monthly depreciation and amortization expense

Assists in preparing financial statements and management reports

Ensures accurate data entry and timely processing of transactions

Work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders

Participates in process improvements, SOP documentation, and internal control enhancements

Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need:

B.A. or B.S. degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred

Minimum of four to six years of accounting experience

Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online (QBO)

Avanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Excellent analytical, organizational, and time-management skills

Strong understanding or accrual accounting and GAAP principles

Effective verbal and written communication abilities

Detail oriented mindset with strong organizational skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Experience working with (url removed) a plus but not required

Physical Demands:

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
