Shift Timings: 6:00:00 AM - 4:30:00 PM, Monday – Thursday

Pay Rate : $15.00/hr - $18.00/hr

 

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop, modify, perform and record assigned preventive maintenance tasks.

Preventive maintenance, repair and adjustment of packaging, palletizing and other equipment.

Housekeeping is a priority to provide a safe, clean and organized work environment

Building maintenance such as lighting, minor plumbing, and fire protection systems

Assist maintenance technicians throughout shift

Refill propane throughout dayshift schedule / make time entry on refill

Dump sawdust hoppers as scheduled / make time entry on each dump, forklift experience is necessary

Keep area around trash compactors & compressor area clean

Monitor the 3 baghouses / make annual rounds throughout shift checking on the baghouses

Sprinkler System for warehouse / check the 2 valve stations & pump room

lighting & water leaks / drain water in compressor / heat system during winter months

Other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

                                   

Preferred maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

Technical knowledge and maintenance experience with production-related equipment.

Technical skills must, mechanic, pneumatic, hydraulic, and welding.

Proper use of torch rig, electrical hand tools, grinders, drill motors, die grinders, band saw, and bench grinder

Must be able to lift 60+ lbs.

Must be able to climb a ladder and work in high areas.

Must have a High School diploma or general education degree (GED).  Technical education is a plus.

Ability to communicate effectively.

This position requires that the person always be highly alert, self-motivated individual who can work independently.
