Maintenance Technician, Gaffney, SC

We are seeking a skilled Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair machinery, production processes, and general facility systems. In this role, you will handle both preventative and reactive maintenance (mechanical and electrical) with a focus on safety, efficiency, and minimal downtime. Qualifications

• Education/Experience: 2-year Mechatronics degree preferred, OR 5+ years of relevant experience required.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in PLC, electrical, and mechanical troubleshooting; ability to read schematics/prints.
• Core Competencies: Advanced problem-solving, shop math, and basic Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) skills.
• Safety: Strict adherence to all safety rules and regulations.
• Ability to regularly stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. continuously (above shoulder height and below the waist).
• Good close vision and depth perception.

salary: $51,500 - $75,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Mechanical & Electrical Repair: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, combustion, and electrical control systems.

• Preventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled PMs and daily inspections on production equipment and molding presses.

• Equipment Upgrades: Install and modify machinery to improve safety, reliability, and operation.

• Technical Skills: Read blueprints/schematics; perform welding, fabrication, and torch-cutting.

• Safety & Admin: Maintain accurate daily paperwork, uphold clean work areas, and strictly follow all EHS regulations.
