Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements
- Preparing and supporting patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures
- Operating and maintaining advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment
- Monitoring patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care
- Safeguarding a sterile, safe environment while serving as an advocate for every patient
Experience
- Cath Lab/Special Procedures Lab experience - preferred
Education
- High School Diploma – Required
- Associate degree or above – Required
- Current Enrollment in an accredited Invasive Cardiovascular Technology Program – Preferred
Licenses and Certifications
- BLS Certification as per St. David’s Healthcare policy
- ACLS Certification as per St. David’s Healthcare policy
- RCIS, or RCES, or RT ( R ) license from an accrediting body – Required within 12 months
- Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer, or (ARRT-R) Radiography, or (RVT) Registered Vascular Technician, or (RCIS) Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
