Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Assemblers for a leading medical manufacturing company located in Burnet, TX. If you enjoy a fast-paced environment and want reliable hours with weekly pay, this job could be a great fit. Read below for more information! What You'll Do as an Assembler:
Assemble quality sub-assemblies or products efficiently per internal training and work instructions/prints using hand and power tools Reference orders and print designs to select appropriate parts for assembly; inspect parts for defects Review orders, perform inspections, and complete assembly checklists after building unit(s)Ensure accessory items are included with products prior to release for quality inspection and packing/shipping Complete required training and follow quality procedures to meet regulatory and quality standards Notify Quality Assurance immediately of any nonconforming product or material Report inventory shortages in advance of depletionNotify supervisor or line lead when work is completed and additional work is needed Operate pallet jacks, electric pallet lifts, and adjustable tables as required Stop production if any defect or process impacts product quality Maintain productivity standards and accurately enter data using tablets or digital toolsWhat You Need to Bring to the Assembler Role:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Mechanical knowledge and manufacturing or assembly experience preferred Ability to read, write, and interpret documents and prints in English Digital literacy, including use of tablets, computers, email, timekeeping, and online learning tools Knowledge of hand and power tools and ability to operate equipment safelyAbility to meet attendance and scheduling expectations Strong attention to quality and accuracy Must be team-oriented and willing to assist where needed Why You'll Like Working with Doherty Staffing Solutions
