5 Axis Programmer, California

Job description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Morgan Hill, CA for a Computer Numerical Control Programmer. The Computer Numerical Control Programmer will be responsible for programming CNC machines, analyzing specifications, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and procedures for producing machined parts.

Must have full 5-axis programming experience

Associate's degree in a relevant field; bachelor's degree or higher is a plus.

5-12 years of experience in CNC programming, machining, and/or manufacturing.

Excellent knowledge of CAD/CAM software, specifically Mastercam.

Experience with multi-axis CNC mills and lathes.

ISO9000

Aerospace & ITAR experience

ERP systems

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications using GD&T

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail.

Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively as part of a team.

Ability to adjust to changing priorities and demands.

Experience with Haas machines preferred.

Experience with SolidWorks preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
