Service Technician, San Martin, CA

Join our team as a Service Technician with a renowned company that offers mobile storage units to construction companies throughout the Bay Area. Your role will leverage skills in carpentry, plumbing, and electrical trades to ensure mobile units and offices are repaired, cleaned, and ready for dispatch.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to receive daily assignments and tasks.
• Perform cleaning, sweeping, and hosing out dirt from returned units.
• Replace tiles and epoxy flooring, ensuring floors are clean and prepared.
• Repair drywall holes, patch, and paint after repairs.
• Replace lightbulbs, locks, blinds, and door handles.
• Document completed work and verify any additional required tasks.

• Minimum of one year experience in construction or as a laborer.
• Proficiency in safety protocols.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience with power tools or willingness to learn.

• Experience in home remodeling, refurbishing, and new construction.
• Hands-on work experience in construction trades.
• Familiarity with blueprint reading.

Work Environment

Service Technicians will primarily work in the yard on mobile units. The role is labor-intensive, involving hands-on refurbishing tasks. Work will be conducted both independently and in team settings. The environment includes extended breaks and ample water supply during hot weather, ensuring comfort and safety.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Martin, CA.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
