Salary: $85K-110K BOE

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Roofing Project Manager/Estimator to join our growing team. This hybrid role combines project management and estimation responsibilities—ensuring roofing projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will be skilled in planning, scheduling, cost control, and client engagement, while also producing accurate and competitive bids for a wide range of roofing systems.

Key Responsibilities

Project ManagementPlan and execute multiple roofing projects from start to finish

Monitor job site progress, maintain documentation, and control costs

Resolve issues related to safety, quality, or client expectations

Assist with procurement, scheduling, and budget tracking

Participate in internal project meetings and weekly scheduling sessions

Estimating & PreconstructionConduct on-site assessments to develop tailored solutions

Analyze architectural drawings and project specifications

Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment

Create competitive bid proposals and adjust budgets as needed

Collaborate on proposal development and contract negotiations

Client & Stakeholder EngagementServe as a liaison between clients, architects, and contractors

Present estimates and answer client inquiries with confidence

Deliver exceptional customer service throughout project lifecycle

Quality & DocumentationEnsure compliance with safety regulations and building codes

Track change orders and document project data and assumptions

Maintain logs and communicate updates to internal teams

Supervisory DutiesMentor and support junior staff

Manage workflow and maintain client relationships

Required Skills & Abilities

Extensive knowledge of roofing systems and industry best practices

Strong skills in cost estimating, budgeting, and scheduling

Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and blueprint takeoff software

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree preferred

5–7 years of experience in the roofing industry

Minimum 3 years in a dedicated estimating role

Proven ability to read blueprints and perform detailed takeoffs

Physical Requirements

Ability to sit at a computer for extended periods

Lift up to 20–30 lbs

Climb ladders, bend, and stand for prolonged periods

Willing to work outdoors and visit active job sites

Pay Range:
