Key Responsibilities: Operation of CNC machines Manual machine operations Daily use of math skills (decimal, fraction and conversion) Ability to follow written work instructionsLoad stock into machines and associated fixturing Deburr as necessary Change tools and perform tool offsets as needed Perform machine maintenance for daily use (i.e. tool life management, coolant, oils and fluid level and accuracy) Must work independently and/or in a team environment Must meet Valor attendance requirementsMust be dependable and punctual Must meet expected throughput of production goals Ability to perform 6-part variations Maintain 99% throughput Maintain 4 or fewer reject tags per year Additional Responsibilities: Ability to inspect and measure components using micrometers, calipers, part specific gauges, pin gauges, height cages, optical comparator, surface finish standards and other standard measuring equipmentModerate frequency of heavy lifting (maximum weight 50lbs) Moderate frequency of gripping/reaching Manual dexterity is moderately necessary Ability to manage multiple ongoing tasks In-process inspection Train / qualify on Level I gauges plus optical comparator and templates Provide Level I quality mentoringBenefits:

of calipers and/or micrometers 4-6 years CNC experience OR combination of associates degree or technical trade program completion with emphasis in machining and experience Deadline to apply is June 4, 2026, but the application window may close sooner if the vacancy is filled sooner.
