We are seeking a high-energy, versatile
Construction Project Manager
who isn't afraid to trade a laptop for a grease gun when the job demands it. This role is a hybrid of high-level project administration and "boots-on-the-ground" field leadership. You will manage the lifecycle of a project—from the initial bid and outbound sales to the final delivery of materials and site completion.Key Responsibilities Project Management&Administration Estimating&Bidding:
Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word to prepare accurate cost estimates and formal bids. Communication:
Email bids to prospective clients and engage in
outbound dialing
to build rapport and follow up on leads. Organization:
Maintain strict project timelines, documentation, and material tracking. Field Operations&Logistics Material Runner:
Pick up landscape materials and ensure timely delivery to various job sites. Heavy Equipment Operation:
Safely operate and transport a
Bobcat/Skid Steer
. Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including
greasing the Bobcat
and basic mechanical troubleshooting. Labor Support:
Lead by example—be willing to "jump in the trenches" to assist the crew with physical labor as needed. Technical Execution Systems Knowledge:
Oversee the installation and repair of
sprinkler systems
. Horticulture:
Apply knowledge of plant health and soil to ensure quality landscape installations. Technical Skills:
Utilize welding or mechanical experience to handle minor equipment repairs or custom site needs. Requirements&Qualifications Category Requirement Technical Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) Equipment Skilled Bobcat operator; Mechanical/Welding skills preferred Industry Knowledge of sprinkler systems and Horticulture Compliance Clean driving record and ability to pass a background checkSoft Skills Highly organized, proactive, and "team-first" mentality Languages Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a significant plus Company Description We have been in this business for over 35 years, and fight to stay small while serving the community with the best service possible.
