HRU Technical Resources has partnered with a global leader in workplace design, office furniture, and commercial interiors headquartered in Holland, Michigan, to hire a Lead SAP Full Stack Developer. In this role we are seeking a highly experienced candidate to support and enhance SAP development across a modern S/4HANA environment. This role is ideal for a senior SAP technical professional with deep ABAP development experience, strong S/4HANA knowledge, and the ability to design, build, troubleshoot, and optimize complex SAP solutions.The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in Classic ABAP, hands-on experience with Modern ABAP on S/4HANA, exposure to Fiori, and familiarity with newer SAP development approaches such as RAP, Key User Extensibility, and Pro Developer Extensibility. This person should also be comfortable working closely with functional teams, translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions, and providing technical leadership across projects.Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, debug, and support SAP technical solutions within an SAP S/4HANA environment. Develop and enhance solutions using Classic ABAP, Modern ABAP, CDS views, OData services, Gateway Services, and related SAP technologies. Support Fiori-related development and deployment efforts, including working with BAS and SAP extensibility tools.Translate functional business requirements into reliable, scalable, and maintainable technical solutions. Perform performance analysis, tuning, troubleshooting, and debugging across SAP applications and integrations. Support technical design discussions and provide guidance on SAP development best practices.Work with cross-functional teams across SAP modules including PPDS, aATP, SD, LE/WM, MM, FI, and SCM. Assist with integrations involving BAPI, RFC, IDOC, REST, OData v4, and related interface technologies. Contribute to a clean, maintainable, and forward-looking SAP development environment. Support teams and stakeholders across international time zones as needed.Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. In lieu of a completed degree, two years of relevant work experience may be considered for each year of education not completed. 10+ years of related SAP design, development, and support experience.Strong knowledge of the ABAP programming language. 2+ years of SAP S/4HANA experience. Hands-on experience with Classic ABAP development. Experience with Modern ABAP in an S/4HANA environment. Ability to work on-site at the company headquarters in Holland, MI at least 4 days per week. Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.Ability to convert functional requirements into effective technical solutions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Strongly Preferred Qualifications: Prior technical leadership experience. Experience with SAP Fiori, including deployed applications. Experience with RAP. Experience with Key User Extensibility and Pro Developer Extensibility.Experience with BAS, CDS, Eclipse, and HANA DB. Experience with REST, OData v4, Gateway Services, and Postman. Object-oriented ABAP experience, including classes. Experience with Module Pool, Function Groups, ALV IDA, Data Dictionary, Enhancements, User Exits, Reports, BAPI, RFC, IDOC, and Adobe Forms.SAP module experience in one or more of the following: PPDS, aATP, SD, LE/WM, MM, FI, or SCM. Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly. Strong technical aptitude and intellectual curiosity. Passion for technology and continuous improvement. Nice-to-Have Skills: AMDP ABAP Unit TestingSAP API Management VS Code ABAP Git / gCTS CAP CDS EWM SAP Integration Suite / PI Application of Clean Core principles Ariba Work Environment / Other Info: 1st (day) shift role. Typically, 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. This role will be a minimum of 40 hours per week, but there may be occasional overtime. Any OT will be paid at 1.5x.This will be primarily an on-site role in Holland, MI. Candidates must be able to be on site a minimum of 4 days per week (1 day from home may be permitted on occasion). Offer may be contingent on a background check and a drug screening. Drug screen would include testing for cannabis.
