Job Title: Warehouse Worker– 3rd Shift Job Description This 3rd shift Warehouse Worker role focuses on picking and packing bottles of wine and spirits throughout a busy distribution warehouse. You will move cases of product, prepare orders for shipment, and support core warehousing operations while working 12-hour shiftsduring peak periods.Responsibilities Pick and pack bottle orders accurately throughout the warehouse using established processes and tools. Move wine and spirits around the warehouse and prepare products for shipment in a timely and organized manner. Physically lift and handle 40–50 pound cases of wine and liquor on a consistent basis throughout the shift.Stock cases onto warehouse shelves and ensure products are placed in the correct locations. Replenish inventory as needed to maintain appropriate stock levels for order fulfillment. Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently, handling cases and pallets as required. Support general warehouse production activities, including shipping, receiving, and basic maintenance tasks.Use RF scanners or similar devices to assist with picking, inventory, and order verification when required. Maintain a clean and orderly work area, even in a fast-paced and cluttered environment. Follow all safety procedures while working around moving mechanical parts, equipment, and vibrations.Demonstrate reliable attendance and a strong work ethic by consistently showing up on time and ready to work 12-hour shifts during busy periods. Essential Skills At least 1 year of general labor experience, ideally in a warehouse setting. Ability to lift, push, and pull 40–50 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the shift.Experience with basic warehouse functions such as order picking, packing, loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving. Proven attendance record in previous positions, demonstrating reliability and commitment. Willingness and physical ability to work 12-hour shifts, especially during peak seasons.Comfort working in a fast-paced, noisy warehouse environment with moving mechanical parts and vibrations. Capability to perform heavy lifting and repetitive physical tasks safely and efficiently. Additional Skills&Qualifications Experience with inventory tasks, including warehouse inventory and replenishment. Experience in general production or warehouse production work. Familiarity with RF scanners or similar handheld devices for picking and inventory is helpful. Experience in packaging, shipping and receiving, and warehouse packing operations.Ability to stay organized and focused in a cluttered and sometimes chaotic environment. The facility can be loud due to moving mechanical parts, equipment, and vibrations, and noise levels may be high at times. The work involves frequent heavy lifting of 35–55 pound products and constant movement throughout the shift. During busy periods, you will work 12-hour shifts on 3rd shift, with training typically running from 3:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. and regular working hours moving to approximately 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. before eventually returning to 8–10hour shifts as volume decreases. The environment can be dirty, and mornings before routes are loaded may feel cluttered and chaotic. Dress code includes non-slip tennis shoes or boots with good traction, and jeans, pants, or shorts that are not too short or revealing and without loose clothing, to support safety and comfort on the warehouse floor.Job Type&Location
This is a Contract position based out of Grand Rapids, MI. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
