Data Conversion Analyst (Mainframe), Flower Mound

Pay Range: $45 - $50/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

Help us design and develop re-usable Mainframe applications that focus on customer experience needs and optimize quality and deployment practices.

Give to the entire development lifecycle from concept to deployment as a member of an agile, multi-functional team.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

Key Skills; 3 - 5 years

Cobol, DB2, VSAM and JCL

A lot of experience in data handling / Mainframe experience

Strong programming skills with digital attitude, and fluent Mainframe technology components.

Are data-driven and can measure, collect, and use data to make decisions.

We understand the value of intuition and the need to balance decisions accordingly.

Have strong communication skills and technical expertise to drive and participate in important discussions.

Ability to blend development with testing by participating in quality efforts.

We consider software quality is ensured through prevention rather than detection

Ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups, both in person and virtually, in a constructive and collaborative manner.

Strong analytical skills and ability to take on issues and work through ambiguous situations by making timely decisions based on facts, knowledge, experience, and judgment.

Strong working experience in CICS, DB2 , VSAM , COBOL and JCL

Exposure to JAVA / J2EE, Python, Angular and web service application development

Excellent collaboration skills to work with multiple teams in the organization globally

Experience with cloud technologies Azure/AWS

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Shown experience and knowledge of Agile development methodology is required.

Bachelor’s or any equivalent degree with computer science background with 5+ years of relevant experience.
