LHH is partnering with a holding company looking to hire a Staff Accountant to join their team in Coppell, TX.

About the Role:

This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, general ledger, supporting project teams, and assisting in audit readiness. If you're organized, detail-driven, and ready to grow your accounting career, this may be the perfect next step.

Responsibilities:

Contribute to month-end close by preparing journal entries and maintaining accurate general ledger records Perform reconciliations of key balance sheet accounts and investigate variances to ensure financial integrity Partner with project management teams to enter and monitor job cost budgets, contracts, and changes in the accounting systemProvide clear, timely responses to internal departments regarding accounting procedures, system usage, and budget questions Support financial audits by compiling relevant documentation and facilitating communication with auditors Assist in ad hoc financial analysis, reporting, and compliance tasks as requestedUphold confidentiality and support internal control best practices across all assigned responsibilities Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting required 1+ years of accounting experience Working knowledge of GAAP and internal accounting controls Strong Microsoft Excel skills; experience with ERP/accounting software preferred Ability to communicate financial concepts clearly, both written and verbally Pay range and compensation package:

$60,000-65,000 + fufll benefits package!
