Position Title: Vehicle Record Research and Editor Division Overview: The Motor Vehicle Division's (MVD) mission is to identify and promote efficient, cost-effective programs that benefit the interests, safety, and well-being of Montana citizens. This occurs through licensing, registering, and regulating the motoring activities of the public. MVD is a critical statewide division responsible to the citizens of Montana. MVD continually strives to provide responsive and reliable services for a growing population and with an eye toward the future.Job Overview: The License Permit Technician 2 is an essential team member in the Vehicle Services Bureau (VSB). The successful candidate will be tasked with learning business standards and procedures to support daily operations giving the business the ability to reallocated resources in support of specific project needs. Project needs include receiving, recording, and routing incoming mail, assisting the public with vehicle titling transactions (to include establishing accounts for monies received), and imaging/indexing all documents processed by the bureau.
