The warehouse associate is responsible for accurately processing orders for pickup and delivering in a timely manner while maintaining a neat and organized warehouse. This role involves a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the warehouse, showroom, and property along with contributing to a positive customer experience.

Compensation:$19.00 hourly

Responsibilities:Follow tasks and instructions provided by the manager.

Prepare work orders and pickups for the day, including preparing the exact yardage of material.

Deliver orders to customers or other company warehouses with safety and care in mind.

Appropriately display and maintain all materials.

Maintain stock samples.

Appropriately dispose of materials.

General maintenance of building and property, including but not limited to: lawn maintenance, snow removal, and basic landscaping.

General custodial responsibilities.

Qualifications:Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks independently.

Basic understanding of warehouse operations and safety procedures.

Basic math skills.

Good computer skills

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work will be performed inside and outside of the warehouse and store.

Work will be performed off-site at customer location(s).

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Ergonomic factors: lifting and lowering heavy items, bending, reaching overhead, repetitive motions, pushing, and pulling heavy loads.

Climbing Ladders

Must be able to lift 75 pounds without restrictions.

TRAVEL REQUIRED

Travel will be required to customers’ homes or other store locations using a company vehicle.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Forklift certification

1-2 years of experience in a related field/work experience.

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Unrestricted drivers license
