Our client, a dynamic player in the food service industry, is seeking a Experienced Cook to join their team. As a Cook, you will be part of the kitchen staff supporting daily operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Cook

Location: Bellaire, MI

Pay Range: Up to $25 per hour

What's the Job?

Check work station at the start of the shift to ensure all necessary items are stocked.

Prepare food items based on incoming order tickets, including grilling burgers and fish, frying items, microwaving, and using a panini grill.

Ensure that hot held food items are maintained at proper temperatures in food warmers.

Clean and sanitize the work station at designated times using proper cleaning chemicals, ensuring compliance with health department standards.

Assist with shared dishwashing duties, utilizing a three-sink method and a commercial dishwasher.

What's Needed?

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety standards.

Experience with cooking equipment such as grills, fryers, and microwaves is a plus.

Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks as needed.

Must be at least 18 years old for certain kitchen equipment use.

Prior Cook experience in a fast paced environment required
