The warehouse associate is responsible for accurately processing orders for pickup and delivering in a timely manner while maintaining a neat and organized warehouse. This role involves a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the warehouse, showroom, and property along with contributing to a positive customer experience. Compensation:
$19.00 hourly Responsibilities:

* Follow tasks and instructions provided by the manager.
* Prepare work orders and pickups for the day, including preparing the exact yardage of material.
* Deliver orders to customers or other company warehouses with safety and care in mind.
* Appropriately display and maintain all materials.
* Maintain stock samples.
* Appropriately dispose of materials.
* General maintenance of building and property, including but not limited to: lawn maintenance, snow removal, and basic landscaping.
* General custodial responsibilities.

Qualifications:

* Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks independently.
* Basic understanding of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
* Basic math skills.
* Good computer skills
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

* Work will be performed inside and outside of the warehouse and store.
* Work will be performed off-site at customer location(s).

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

* Ergonomic factors: lifting and lowering heavy items, bending, reaching overhead, repetitive motions, pushing, and pulling heavy loads.
* Climbing Ladders
* Must be able to lift 75 pounds without restrictions.

TRAVEL REQUIRED

* Travel will be required to customers' homes or other store locations using a company vehicle.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

* Forklift certification
* 1-2 years of experience in a related field/work experience.

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

* Unrestricted drivers license
