Teaching Instructor/Teaching Assistant/Teaching Associate Professor - Accompanist&Vocal Instructor

The School of Theatre and Dance is searching to fill a full-time 9-month Permanent Fixed Term Teaching Instructor/Teaching Assistant Professor/Teaching Associate Professor– Accompanist&Vocal Instructor. The Accompanist&Vocal Instructor teaches a 2:2 course load, with the remaining 50% covering accompaniment for dance classes (ballet and modern), private vocal coaching, and music directing as needed. This position may teach courses in musical theatre performance techniques, advanced audition preparation, fundamental musicianship, music theory, and/or musical theatre history, depending on the candidate's areas of specialty. The position is expected to teach and provide professional service to the institution and community. This position is contingent upon available funding.Minimum Education/Experience: A Master's Degree (MM or MFA) in Music or Musical Theatre or equivalent professional experience is required. Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education: Prefer five years of commensurate professional experience.
