As a member of the CAD/CAM team, you will be an active contributor to the factory volume ramp and standardization efforts.Job Description

What you'll do: Generate and maintain CNC programs utilizing Siemens NX CAM (2206) or other software. This could include multi-axis milling, turning, grinding and/or EDM. Verify new CNC programs prior to release on the shop floor utilizing Vericut. Provide CNC related support to M.E. (Manufacturing Engineer) and provide operator training during new / rebuilt machine startup and / or process improvements.Provide daily operator support in the form of CNC programming and troubleshooting support to the shop floor. Support and implement tooling&fixturing requirements associated with CNC machine tools. Generate and support workstation instructions (methods) for CNC related issues. Initiate and lead process improvement projects to improve safety, quality, cost and delivery. Provide effective communication to appropriate team members when needed.Work effectively as an individual and in a team-based environment in a matrixed organization. Work effectively in a fast-paced environment while embracing and driving positive change inside and outside the organization when appropriate. Qualifications

What you'll bring (Basic Qualifications): Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology Hands-on academic or internship/co-op experience with machining, CNC equipment, or manufacturing process development What will make you stand out: Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from a program with hands-on manufacturing, machining, or CAD/CAM courseworkInternship or co-op experience in a manufacturing, machining, or industrial environment Strong problem solving and organization skills, with above average shop math skills in algebra, geometry and trigonometry. Demonstrated proficiency interpreting drawing requirements. Experience creating CNC toolpaths or supporting CNC programs using Siemens NX CAM or similar CAM softwareFamiliarity with CNC machine tools, cutting tools, fixturing, and setup concepts Demonstrated ability to work hands-on engineering projects, senior design, robotics, Formula SAE, BAJA, Motorsports, or similar fabrication-focused student teams Ability to multi-task and productively manage multiple projects concurrentlyBenefits
