SALE $35 RAINIER “Premium Cherry” & one of the best varieties for home gardens. Fruit is high in sugar with a “pleasantly tart” cherry taste. Richly flavored, firm yet juicy, delicious eaten freshly picked. The semi-dwarf tree stays 12-15 feet tall. Rainier needs another cherry tree for cross pollination. We suggest a Bing because Rainer’s fruit ripens July to August. Bing’s crop will follow right after (in August) extending the season you’ll have for picking fresh cherries. Bing Cherry originated nearby (Milwaukie, Oregon) in the late 19th century – for over 100 years it has proven well-adapted to our local conditions. The semi-dwarf tree stays 12-15 feet tall.
