Sale $45 - Self-pollinating, semi-dwarf tree with 4 cherry varieties (Trees are now 4½-5 ft tall – 1 inch caliper trunk)
Choose from these types on the branches: BING dark red smooth, glossy, sweet, RAINIER scarlet with yellow blush, very sweet, ROYAL ANN almost like the Rainer, EARLY RICHMOND heirloom perfect for pies & desserts, STELLA juicy, heart-shaped, sweet and firm. MONTMORENCY tart, favorite for pies and preserves, LAPINS large, dark, very sweet firm fruit USDA Zones 5 – 9 Trunk caliper 1 inch, now 4½-5 feet tall, planted in 5 gallon pots.
SALE $35 RAINIER “Premium Cherry” & one of the best varieties for home gardens. Fruit is high in sugar with a “pleasantly tart” cherry taste. Richly flavored, firm yet juicy, delicious eaten freshly picked. The semi-dwarf tree stays 12-15 feet tall. Rainier needs another cherry tree for cross pollination. We suggest a Bing because Rainer’s fruit ripens July to August. Bing’s crop will follow right after (in August) extending the season you’ll have for picking fresh cherries. Prunus avium ‘Rainier’ USDA Zones 5-8 Trunk caliper 1 inch, now 5-6 feet tall, planted in 5 gallon pots
SALE $35 BING “World’s Most Popular Sweet Cherry” – Large, juicy cherries, with more intense flavor. Ripens August, exceptional fresh, canned, or on a Gateau. Bing Cherry originated nearby (Milwaukie, Oregon) in the late 19th century – for over 100 years it has proven well-adapted to our local conditions. The semi-dwarf tree stays 12-15 feet tall. Bing needs another pollinator for fruit production (Rainier, Lapins, or Combo Cherry). Prunus avium “Bing’ USDA Zones 5-8 Trunk caliper 1½ inch, now 4-6 feet tall, planted in 5 gallon pots.
SALE $35 LAPINS (SELF-FERTILE) Very sweet, large, juicy, rich-awarded “Garden of Merit.” Delicious fresh, wonderful for baking, firmer flesh than other cherries so resists splitting. Usually ripens July/August, trees stay about 12-15 feet tall. Lapins Cherry is one of the few self-fertile cherry trees and it is an excellent pollinator for other types. Prunus avium “Lapins’ USDA Zones 5-9 Trunk caliper 1½ inch, now 6-7 feet tall, planted in 5 gallon pots
