Requirements
Completion of an accredited Registered Nurse program of study.
Current and unencumbered license in the state of practice.
At least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
Ability to read medical equipment and documents; may involve pushing carts and handling equipment.
Must be able to lift at least 30 pounds; walk, stand, and move for prolonged periods.
CPR certification as required by client facility; health and screening tests as required.
Representative Duties and Responsibilities
Provides general care services, including assessment, analysis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Assesses healthcare needs of patients through routine assessments and develops individualized nursing and health care plans.
Performs health screenings, administers medications/treatments, and responds to emergency healthcare needs.
Collects and records data related to patient health status.
Ensures confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA.
Complies with accepted ethical conduct and professional standards of nursing practice.
Provides patient care in a non-judgmental, non-discriminatory manner, respecting cultural diversity.
May perform other duties as assigned.
