An Am Law 100 firm is looking for a mid-level associate with 3+ years of experience in life sciences or pharmaceutical patent litigation, including Hatch-Waxman disputes, to join its award-winning intellectual property practice.
Key responsibilities:
Handle pharmaceutical patent litigation, including Hatch-Waxman cases and related disputes.
Provide strategic counseling on intellectual property and patent portfolio management.
Conduct and oversee legal research, discovery, and brief drafting in complex IP matters.
Collaborate with partners and cross-disciplinary teams in multiple jurisdictions.
Engage in trial preparation, client strategy sessions, and settlement negotiations.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in patent litigation, particularly in pharmaceutical or life sciences disputes.
Undergraduate degree in biology, chemistry, pharmacology, or a related field.
Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
Admission to a U.S. state bar required.
Exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
