Advanced Resource Technologies, Inc. (ARTI) is currently recruiting for a
Security Specialist – Access Control and Visitor Management Technician (Information Security Specialist)
in support of a contract with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in Washington, DC.
The position is full-time, exempt.
The start date is immediate, based on the award of DHS Suitability/Entry on Duty (EOD).
SUMMARY
Working in the Physical Security Branch (PSB), Consolidated Headquarters Security Division (CHQSD), Office of the Chief Security Officer (OCSO), DHS, the successful candidate will support the Access Control and Visitor Management programs.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Support the Visitor Management Program:
Conduct inquiries into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) for visitors without a Common Access Card (CAC) or Personal Identity Verification (PIV) card.
Operate Stopware's Passage Point software to approve visitors in the campus visitor management system, conducting inquiries as needed.
Respond to telephone and email queries regarding visit request statuses.
Conduct inquiries into the Identity Management System to verify if foreign visitors are registered by their sponsor.
Support the Access Control Program:
Conduct NCIC checks and temporary credentialing for service workers awaiting GSA PIV card issuance.
Support the CHQSD's PIV Card Issuing Facility (PCIF):
Issue and replace PIV cards for authorized DHS personnel.
Operate Software House's C-CURE **** access control software to assign access clearances and conduct inquiries.
Use the Identity Management System (IMS) to revoke tokens for lost or terminated cardholders.
Enroll authorized personnel into the access control system.
Maintain records as required.
Support construction activities:
Conduct NCIC checks on construction workers.
Perform identity proofing before credentialing.
Issue access credentials to construction workers.
Maintain construction badge records.
