Operations & Logistics Manager, Washington

We are currently supporting an outstanding international technology leader within the mission-critical (IT/AV) technology space in the search for a Logistics and Operations Manager to join their growing US operation based in Washington D.C.
This is a highly visible operational leadership role focused on inventory management, logistics coordination, order management, procurement support, and Sales & Operations Planning activities across a complex, fast-paced technical environment.
The position will play a critical role in ensuring seamless end-to-end supply chain execution, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction across high-value technical projects and deployments.
The opportunity would suit candidates with strong experience across logistics, supply chain, inventory management, procurement, or S&OP environments who enjoy working cross-functionally, driving operational improvements, and managing complex operational workflows within an international technology-led business.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage operational logistics including transportation, warehousing, and shipping
Coordinate order management and supplier purchase orders
Track material availability and delivery schedules
Lead inventory management activities including audits and stock optimisation
Support demand planning and regional S&OP processes
Collaborate with project managers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
Drive operational improvements and process efficiencies
Requirements:
7+ years' experience within logistics, inventory management, order management, or S&OP environments
Strong understanding of U.S. logistics regulations and transportation frameworks
Experience working with ERP systems such as MS D365FO
Background in demand planning and inventory optimisation
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related discipline
Desirable Experience:
MBA, APICS/CSCP, or CPIM certification
Experience within fast-paced or multi-channel operational environments
