The role
We are looking for aHead of Logisticsto design, build and lead thelogisticsfunction for Helsing's US business.
You willbe responsible forthe end-to-end movement of hardware,componentsand finished products across our US operations - from inbound supply chain through to customer delivery, fielddeploymentand sustainment.You willsetthe strategy, build the team,establishthe systems, and create the partnershipsrequiredto scalelogisticsfrom early-stage shipments to high-volume production support.
You will work closely with manufacturing, supply chain, program management, and customer-facing teams to ensure Helsing candeliver onits commitments to the US Department of Defense and allied customers.
The day-to-day
* Define and execute thelogisticsstrategy for Helsing's US business across inbound, outbound, warehousing,transportationand reverselogistics
* Build and lead a high-performinglogisticsteam, scaling from a small founding group to a distributedorganization
* Establish warehousing,fulfilmentand distribution infrastructure across the US, including secure facilities whererequired
* Manage international and domestic freight operations, including ITAR/EAR-controlled shipments and customs compliance
* Develop and manage relationships with 3PLs, carriers, freightforwardersand customs brokers
* Implement the systems,toolsand processes (WMS, TMS, ERP integration)requiredto give Helsing real-time visibility and control over its physical operations
* Partner with manufacturing and supply chain leaders to ensure smooth flow of materials into production and finished goods to customers
* Support field deployments,exercisesand customer demonstrations with rapid, reliablelogisticsexecution - including international movements to allied theatres
* Establish KPIs, reporting and continuous improvement practices to drive cost,speedand reliability
* Ensure full compliance with US export controls, DoD requirements, hazmatregulationsand relevant transportation law
You should apply if you
* 10+ years oflogisticsleadership experience, ideally spanningdefense, aerospace, or complex hardware manufacturing
* Proventrack recordof building and scalinglogisticsoperations from the ground up
* Deep understanding of USdefenselogistics, including working with the DoD, prime contractors, and governmentfurnishedequipment processes
* Strong knowledge of ITAR, EAR, and US customs regulations governing the movement ofdefense-related goods
* Experience managing 3PL and carrier relationships at scale, with strong commercial and operational instincts
* Familiarity with WMS, TMS and ERP systems, and the ability to make sound build-vs-buy decisions
* Experience supporting field operations, including international deployments and time-critical movements
* Excellent leadership and communication skills, witha track recordof building diverse, high-performing teams
* US citizenship required; ability to obtain a US security clearance
* Willingness to travel domestically and internationally asrequired
