Entry level career opportunity Day shift in Troutdale, OR Job Description The Production Assembler builds and assembles industrial control panels by following electrical schematics and blueprints. This role involves precise wiring, mechanical and electronic component installation, and consistent use of a variety of hand and power tools in a light technical manufacturing setting.Responsibilities Build and assemble industrial control panels using electrical schematics and blueprints. Cut, strip, and crimp wires accurately to specified lengths and configurations. Construct wire harnesses and ensure clean, organized routing of wiring. Run electrical wires from point-to-point within control panels according to schematics.Install electronic and mechanical components securely and in the correct sequence. Use hand tools, power tools, air tools, and torque tools safely and effectively. Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics to guide assembly work. Inspect completed assemblies for quality, accuracy, and proper function.Work collaboratively within assigned cells to build different types of panels for various applications. Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety and quality procedures. Essential Skills Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and confidently. Basic manufacturing or production experience (preferred but not required).Ability to read and follow instructions, diagrams, and basic blueprints or schematics. Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail for wiring, crimping, and assembly tasks. Comfort working in a light technical manufacturing environment. Interest in or aptitude for electronics and electrical work.Ability to work a consistent first-shift schedule. Additional Skills&Qualifications Prior manufacturing experience in an industrial or production environment. Previous assembly experience in any industry. Experience with wiring, crimping, and building assemblies or harnesses. Ability to read and interpret detailed blueprints and electrical schematics. Enjoyment of building things, tinkering, or hands-on projects.Passion for electronics or electrical work and a desire to develop a skilled trade. Willingness to learn control panel building from the ground up with on-the-job training. Why Work Here? The work takes place in a light technical setting located in an old airport hangar that is kept clean and organized. The facility is arranged into different cells, each building different types of control panels for a variety of clients and industries. You will regularly use hand tools, power tools, air tools, and torque tools while working in an environment that emphasizes training, skill development, and teamwork.Job Type&Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Troutdale, OR. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
