Property Management Maintenance Technician Level 1

Position Overview: We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician Level 1 to join our property management team. The successful candidate will assist in maintaining the safety, functionality, and appearance of our

residential/commercial

properties. This entry-level role provides an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills and grow within our organization.

Key Responsibilities: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry repairs. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from tenants or property management team. Assist with preventative maintenance programs to ensure property assets are well-maintained.Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Ensure all work areas are clean, safe, and compliant with company standards and safety regulations. Support senior maintenance staff with larger projects and specialized repairs as needed. Report any safety hazards or property damages to management immediately.

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general maintenance. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Prior experience in property maintenance or a related field is a plus, but not required.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks associated with maintenance work.
