Make an immediate impact in the lives of students by providing specialized instruction and support in a dynamic school environment. We're seeking passionate Special Education professionals to work in full-time contract positions across elementary and middle grades. With para support in place, you'll collaborate with general education teams to promote inclusion and foster student success.
Open positions include:
Two elementary (K-5) inclusion roles One elementary (K-5) self-contained role One middle school (grades 6-8) inclusion role Key responsibilities:
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students' unique needs Employ differentiated instructional strategies to accommodate varying learning styles and abilities Co-teach and collaborate with general education teachers in inclusion settings Foster a supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages student growth and participationTrack student progress, maintain thorough documentation, and communicate regularly with families and school team members Utilize para support effectively to maximize student engagement and success Preferred qualifications:
Active Special Education Teacher certification Previous experience in K-8 special education, with emphasis on inclusion and/or self-contained classrooms Familiarity with IEP development and implementation Strong communication and teamwork skills Dedication to creating equitable opportunities for all learners
These full-time roles offer 37.5 hours each week and begin as soon as possible, continuing through the remainder of the school year. Leverage your expertise and compassion while making a difference for students who need you most.
