Summer Fun Site Supervisor, Williamsburg

Job Title

Coordinates and implements a six-week recreation program for school-age children (kindergarten through 8th grade). Supervises and directs all part-time support staff and administers recreational activities at assigned site. Organizes recreational activities, field trips, events and arts&crafts. Oversees the promotion of recreational activities at a specific site and maintains a safe learning environment. Visits various job-site locations throughout the County. Minimum Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older with 2 years or more experience managing children in a professional setting (teaching, childcare, summer camps etc). CPR/AED/First Aid certification and MAT Certification, or ability to attain one once hired. This job is contingent upon successful completion of pre-employment checks to include criminal history, and background record checks.Supplemental Information

CPR/AED/First Aid Training offered to all supervisors.

Must be able to work a revised schedule when needed, and maintain consistent attendance throughout the six week program. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Must exercise considerable tact and courtesy when interacting with program participants, parents and support staff. Position is work-as-required, no benefits.Physical Demands
