Job Summary
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
Perform service maintenance and cleaning of vehicles including buses, trucks, tractors, and passenger cars.
Keeps record of fuel and oil on all vehicles serviced.
Drives a bus over designated routes in accordance with time schedules, picking up and discharging children, escorting children across street, Transports teachers and students on field trips to various locations making departure and arrival time as scheduled.
Is required between driving shifts to perform building custodial duties or grounds maintenance duties.
Requirements / Qualifications
Current medical certificate Current first aid certificate or CHP endorsement of first aid waiver.
High school diploma or equivalent 6 months experience as a bus driver or 1 year of truck driving experience.
Employees must complete the valid California motor vehicle license class B with passenger endorsement type 1 school bus with automatic transmission DMV print out High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
