Job Summary
The Retail Inventory Control Specialist provides excellent customer service while professionally managing inventory maintenance and control as assigned by the Retail Store Supervisors, Merchandising Manager, and Assistant Operations Manager.
Accurately receive, transfer, and log merchandise.
Run and analyze reports to determine the merchandising needs of the stores.
Responsible for providing guests with information about the store, its merchandise, the resort, and the surrounding area.
Required
2+ years of supervisory experience in the hospitality or retail industry
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organization skills
Previous guest service experience
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and POS knowledge
ServeSafe or similar food management certification within 30 days of hire
Valid driver license and approved driving record
Must be at least 18
Preferred
Previous inventory control experience
Knowledge of resort operations
Typical Schedule
Days: Varies, including weekends and holidays
Hours: Varies, including nights
Core Responsibilities
Responsible for the upkeep of ready stock for Retail Associates and Shift Supervisors
Facilitate the transfer of product to and from all storage areas
Responsible for the upkeep of any storage log books
Inform management of low inventory and merchandise that needs reordering
Assist in the receiving, storage, and merchandising of all retail inventory
Assist in the training and mentoring of new Retail Associates and Shift Supervisors
Be able to perform all tasks required from Retail Associate to Shift Supervisor positions
