General Information:
James Madison University's Facilities Management is accepting applications for a wage Institutional Chauffeur.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties include driving JMU students, faculty, and staff using various modes of transportation such as sedans, vans, and SUV's.
Trips will involve weekdays, overnights, and weekends.
Qualifications:
Required: Must be at least 19 years old and have a valid driver's license for a minimum of 24 months.
Must possess a good driving record.
Must be able to work well with faculty, staff, students, and visitors.
Knowledge of trip routing, managing trip logs, and detailed reporting.
Excellent customer service, planning, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and schedules.
Availability on weekdays and weekends, including days, evenings, and nights.
Additional Posting Information:
Conditions of Employment: Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background check and an acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR).
This is a part-time wage position working up to an average of 29 hours per week over the course of a calendar year with no benefits.
