HR Generalist, New Britain, CT

The HR Generalist is responsible for supporting various human resources functions including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and HR policy implementation. This role serves as a point of contact for employees and management, ensuring a positive and compliant work environment.

salary: $24 - $27 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities

 

• Assist with recruiting efforts, including posting job openings, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews.
• Support onboarding and orientation processes for new hires.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
• Maintain and update employee records in HRIS systems.
• Administer employee benefits programs and assist with benefits enrollment and questions.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Support performance management and employee development initiatives.
• Assist with HR reporting and data analysis.
• Support initiatives related to workplace culture, engagement, and retention.
• Participate in HR projects and process improvements as needed.
