Teaching courses within the assigned discipline area in accordance with institutional standards Evaluating and assessing student learning outcomes Providing student support, mentoring, and academic advising Developing curriculum and periodically reviewing and updating instructional materials Minimum Qualifications

Master's degree or equivalent in the subject matter. Successful Candidate must have or must possess: Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds, including individuals with disabilities Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) Additional qualifications may be requested, as relevant to the academic department. Preferred Qualifications

One (1) or more years' teaching-related college-level courses (24+ credits). Experience using technology to enhance the learning environment, e.g., Blackboard, online instruction or other modalities/software. Special Requirements

Incumbent must go through a complete Department of Corrections Background check and attend a 3-hour Volunteer, Intern and Professional Partner (VIP) training on safety and security. Salary

Salary $2,112 per contact/credit hour ($6,336 for a 3-credit course). Application Instructions
