Job Title: Call Center Representative (Start date of 5/26) Location: 77 Hartland Street, East Hartford, CT ***** Duration: 3 months with possibility of extension / conversion to perm Pay Rate: $*****/hr on W2 Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (Weekends off)
About the Job
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to support our customers as a first point of contact.
You will be responsible for providing program and account information, password reset assistance, and ensuring timely call resolution.
Responsibilities
Act as initial point of contact for inquiries from potential and existing beneficiaries
Provide one-to-one telephone contact with consumers and providers
Assist with password resets and accurately respond to incoming calls
Document all interactions with consumers and properly forward calls to Call Center Leadership or other CT agencies
Log calls into call tracking system and note trends in consumer questions and concerns
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent, and six months minimum experience in a call center environment
Associate degree or higher without call center experience
Ability to pass 30 wpm typing test and customer service assessment
Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check and drug test
Strong commitment and work ethic, outstanding attendance, and effective problem-solving skills
