Your Expertise: Minimum of 3 years related experience Basic knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic systems. Technical troubleshooting Blueprint reading Good communication and interpersonal skills Basic knowledge of plant and machine safety Some basic computer skills. Ability to operate custodial operation-related equipment and use applicable chemicals, supplies, hand and power toolsAbility to understand written and verbal communications

Your Challenge: Perform mechanical repairs (and rebuild) on all machines Work with QA, MFG and ENG to maintain trouble-free equipment Support with scheduling PM, reading reports, diagrams and drawings Working knowledge of tool Probing function for CNC Mill Machines Able to work with complex Numerical Control (NC) machines up to&including 5 Axis Knowledge of OEM machine controllers Perform machine leveling and alignment on all machines Pull and replace machine linear guides and ball screws Identify and replace parts as necessary Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain machine tool equipment and controls Use machine tool manuals, technical documents, and internal and vendor resources to research machine issuesGeneral facilities maintenance Coordinate with external suppliers and maintenance companies to ensure timely and accurate completion of work Work based on sense of urgency with machine down conditions In conjunction with production team, will support continuous improvement of development of PM instructions and schedules to prevent failuresTroubleshoot hydraulic, electronics, and software, electrical, pneumatic and mechanical systems Devise methods of altering machinery and equipment to improve operating characteristics Fabrication and rebuilding of various mechanical assemblies Check machine accuracy and adjust accordingly Other duties as assignedEducation Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required.
