Quality Inspection
CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Quality Control Associate to join a growing team in Bloomfield. This position is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, a hands-on mindset, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment. Candidates should be comfortable performing inspections, identifying defects, and ensuring products meet company standards while maintaining consistent productivity. This role offers a stable first-shift schedule, competitive pay, and the opportunity to grow within a company that values precision, accountability, and teamwork.Responsibilities: Audit and monitor quality requirements in accordance with company quality assurance policies and customer specifications. Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of subassemblies, final assemblies, components, and raw materials. Track corrective and preventive actions from customers and vendors; conduct root cause analysis and troubleshooting investigations.Document and report inspection findings and monitor corrective actions. Read and interpret part specifications and prints for incoming and final inspections. Capture photos for documentation, including build sequences, inspection procedures, damaged parts, and shipment verification. Manage and organize build photos in the system, ensuring accessibility and alignment with digital work instructions.Prepare and process Material Rejection Reports (MRRs), moving rejected materials to designated nonconforming areas per procedure. Develop inspection criteria and incorporate details into work instructions. Maintain logs of incoming inspection requirements and part specifications. Write, revise, and manage work instructions, including maintaining document control on internal systems.Follow RMA procedures and update statuses in internal systems. Assist in supplier audits and qualification processes. Request and manage prints from vendors, customers, and internal teams for new applications and revisions. Update and maintain inspection-related forms and documentation. Collaborate with engineering, sales, and other departments to resolve inspection and compliance questions.Mark up drawings for revisions or red-line approvals. Collect, document, and file inspection records and related documentation. Maintain accurate records in databases and internal systems. Coordinate movement of finished assemblies and materials to warehouse or stock locations. Promote company-wide quality improvement initiatives.Evaluate and develop improved methods for quality control. Train staff on quality assurance practices and procedures. Perform additional duties as assigned. Desired Background/Skills: Experience in Quality Assurance with a demonstrated track record of accomplishments as a Quality Assurance Specialist focused on customer satisfaction.Experience with quality system rules and regulations, including planning and implementation. Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and superior organizational skills. Ability to take initiative, maintain confidentiality, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a team environment.Strong time management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience using Lean tools in a manufacturing environment is highly recommended. Experience reading electrical and pneumatic prints is a plus.
