Designer (Web, Packaging, Graphic, Digital) II, California

The Fountain Group is a national staffing firm and we are currently seeking a ­­­­­­­­Sr. Graphic Designer (Packaging) for a prominent client of ours.  This position is in ­El Segundo, CA 90245. Details for the position are as follows:

Location: Hybrid – 2 days WFH / 3 days in-office

Pay Rate: $40/hour

Duration: 12-month contract assignment

Hours: Full-time, 9 AM start

What You’ll Do:

Lead the creation of 2D + 3D packaging renderings and mechanicals

Prepare production-ready files, ensuring accuracy with pantones, foil, and deco treatments

Develop mood boards and conceptual secondary packaging designs

Collaborate with marketing, product development, and vendors

Use tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dimension) – Adobe Dimension is a plus

Participate in press checks and manage files through TAG and/or ESKO systems

Deliver error-free work on tight timelines in a fast-paced environment

What Stands Out to the Hiring Manager:

4+ years in packaging design

Strong attention to detail & organized file handling

Experience with press checks & production processes

High-quality rendering skills

Excellent layout and mechanical design ability

Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and bonus: Adobe Dimension

Experience with TAG, ESKO, or similar artwork review platforms
