JOB TITLE: Principal UX Designer

LOCATION: Pleasanton, CA (50% onsite)

DURATION: Through 1/31/26

PAY RANGE: $85-$90/hr

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We re seeking a passionate, highly experienced Principal UX Designer to join our team and take a leading role in defining the end-to-end user experience of our client's Marketplace. This is a high-impact opportunity to drive strategy, innovation, and execution in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

What You ll Do:

Own the UX strategy for Marketplace, turning bold ideas into seamless, user-first experiences.

Partner with cross-functional leaders to align on goals, objectives, and requirements, advocating for design solutions that balance business success with exceptional user experience.

Lead the full UX lifecycle strategy, ideation, prototyping, user testing, and implementation ensuring a seamless and intuitive experience.

Collaborative iteratively with researchers, designers, writers, and engineers to bring cohesive, user-centered experiences to life.

What You Bring:

8+ years of experience designing modern digital experiences and products.

Experience with transactional web platforms (e.g. e-commerce).

Deep understanding of UX principles, best practices, and standards.

An exceptional portfolio that highlights your design process, problem-solving, and the measurable impact your work has achieved in real-world projects.

A holistic, user-first mindset with meticulous attention to detail.

Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Experience with Figma and prototyping tools.

Nice-to-Haves:

Experience with digital marketing best practices.

Experience in the Enterprise/B2B sector
