Stitch Operator, Hialeah, FL

We are seeking an experienced Saddle Stitcher Operator to set up, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain Muller Martini Bravo and Presto 2 saddle stitching equipment in a fast-paced commercial print environment. This role is responsible for producing high-quality stitched products while meeting production schedules, quality standards, and efficiency targets. Please apply!

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate  Muller Martini Bravo and Presto 2 saddle stitchers for a variety of stitched products including booklets, catalogs, manuals, and direct mail pieces.
• Review job tickets, layouts, and specifications to ensure proper setup and production requirements are met.
• Perform make-readies, changeovers, and machine adjustments to optimize run speeds and minimize downtime.
• Monitor product quality throughout production, including trim size, stitch quality, pagination, folds, and overall finished appearance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, feeding, stitching, trimming, and delivery issues to maintain efficient workflow.
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance, lubrication, cleaning, and minor repairs on equipment.
• Coordinate with prepress, press, bindery, and shipping teams to ensure smooth workflow and on-time delivery.
• Accurately record production data, downtime, waste, and job notes in production tracking systems.
• Maintain organized work area and adhere to all company safety procedures and housekeeping standards.
• Assist in training junior operators or bindery staff as needed.
