Job Description
The role of the Cleanroom Material Handler is to maintain and control inventory at the customer facility, covering basic logistics activities. This includes receiving materials arriving at the customer site, facilitating material usage onsite, shipping materials offsite, and all activities in-between. The position requires working in a cleanroom environment for the majority of the time and may involve domestic travel.
Responsibilities
- Comply with all safety requirements, maintaining a safety-first mentality and using PPE as required.
- Receive deliveries from offsite warehousing and update material trackers including inventory management.
- Facilitate the movement of materials out of stock for engineering usage and ensure the return flow of materials to onsite storage locations.
- Process returns of materials from the customer site to offsite warehouse with correct packing, labeling, and documentation.
- Maintain dock, elevator, vestibule, and laydown areas according to customer norms, ensuring proper housekeeping.
- Ensure correct and timely material handover process with engineers, including pull-lists, proof of delivery, and proof of receipt.
- Conduct physical material movement between Cleanroom Lay Down Area and System Work Area.
- Perform cycle counts of inventory and log material movements.
- Expedite line-down parts and urgent material needs to appropriate work areas.
- Perform daily material staging, returns, and system work area organization.
- Prepare materials for return, ensuring proper identification, packaging, and completeness.
- Provide onsite technical support, which may involve heavy lifting of equipment and modules.
- Work in a cleanroom production environment and/or laboratory setting, occasionally exposed to loud noise bursts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Proficiency in inventory control and logistics.
- Experience in material handling and data entry.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and SAP ERP.
- Strong customer focus and commitment to satisfaction.
- Ability to complete assignments with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proven ability to perform effectively in demanding environments.
- Computer skills, particularly in Outlook and Excel.
- SAP knowledge is beneficial.
- 2+ years of experience in logistics or operations roles.
- Experience with handling heavy materials using pallet jacks and carts.
- Ability to read and interpret data, information, and documents.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent work ethic.

Work Environment
The position operates within a cleanroom and high-tech environment, requiring a strict adherence to procedures and timelines. The work schedule is Sunday to Tuesday, every other Saturday, from 6:45 PM to 7:00 AM. The environment may occasionally involve exposure to loud noise bursts and physical activity including lifting up to 50 pounds.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.30 - $27.50/hr.
