Staff Accountant
CFS is partnering with a growing organization in the Chelsea area to identify a detail-oriented
Staff Accountant
to support day-to-day accounting activities in a hybrid setting with two days per week in the office.
The
Staff Accountant
will assist with transactional accounting, reconciliations, and close support while gaining exposure to a broad range of accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end close
Perform account reconciliations and maintain general ledger accuracy
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Support audit and reporting requests as needed
Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate financial data
In this role, the
Staff Accountant
will work under the guidance of senior accounting staff and contribute to timely and accurate financial reporting.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
1–3 years of relevant accounting experience
Working knowledge of GAAP
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Willingness to learn and grow in a team-based environment
The
Staff Accountant
should be comfortable handling routine accounting responsibilities while building technical expertise.
Compensation & Work Environment
Salary range:
$60,000–$80,000
, based on experience
Hybrid schedule with
two days per week in office
