You're the person who convinces a business owner that something fundamentally better exists, earns their trust, and brings them across the line. That takes conviction, craft, and a genuine belief in what you're selling. This is a high-velocity, high-ownership role for someone who closes with urgency and cares about who they're closing for. Own the full sales cycle end to end: from first conversation through signed contract, with no hand-holding and no excuses Run a high-volume pipeline with precision: manage dozens of active opportunities simultaneously without letting anything slip Build deep product knowledge and translate it into compelling, tailored pitches for SMB owners who have never been sold to this way before Travel to conferences and trade shows nationwide to build pipeline, deepen relationships, and close deals in person Partner closely with marketing to align on campaigns, share field intelligence, and ensure outbound and inbound motions are working together Develop and refine your own closing playbooks. What works, what doesn't, and how to tighten the cycle over time Partner with SDRs to give feedback on lead quality and help sharpen top-of-funnel targeting Track all activity, pipeline, and deal progression rigorously in HubSpot. Your CRM is your source of truth Surface market intelligence back to product and leadership. You're on the front lines and what you hear matters Go beyond the playbook. Own your number and contribute wherever you see opportunityQualifications

2+ years of full-cycle, quota-carrying closing experience with a proven track record of consistently hitting or exceeding targets Demonstrated ability to close complex deals with SMB owners or non-technical buyers who require education, trust-building, and patience Exceptional written and verbal communication. You can write a cold email that gets a response and run a discovery call that actually uncovers something Comfortable traveling regularly for conferences, trade shows, and field events High ownership mindset: you build your own pipeline, manage your own time, and take full responsibility for your number Comfortable with HubSpot, spreadsheets, and the discipline of keeping your CRM airtight Early-stage startup experience strongly preferred Competitive, coachable, and allergic to excuses The average AE at Affiniti closes $2M ARR per month.
