Senior Accounts Payable Associate

BizTek People is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Associate for our client in New York City. Responsibilities include managing full-cycle Accounts Payable processes, supporting daily AP operations, performing month-end and year-end closing tasks, conducting detailed reconciliations, assisting with internal and external audits, supporting annual tax filings, participating in special projects, maintaining accounting policies, process improvements, corporate and purchasing card applications, and resolving AP issues. Qualifications include an associate's degree or equivalent experience, minimum 5 years of accounts payable experience, strong knowledge of accounting principles, proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software systems, high level of accuracy, attention to detail, excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, strong customer service and communication abilities, effective time management and organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
