Human Resources Business Partner, Honolulu

Focus Search LLC is recruiting for an HR Business Partner with a supply chain logistics company in Honolulu, HI.
This role is responsible for aligning HR practices with organizational goals by supporting talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning.
The role provides guidance to leadership on employee development, compensation, benefits administration, and compliance while driving HR initiatives that enhance engagement, operational efficiency, and workplace culture in a regulated environment.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Human Resources (preferred)
PHR or SHRM-CP certification (preferred)
5+ years of progressive HR experience across employee relations, working with Unions, benefits, recruitment, and program administration
Experience in supply chain – trucking, shipping, aviation, cargo, or other regulated industries (highly preferred)
Strong ability to influence leadership and manage complex employee relations matters
Proven analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and relationship-building capabilities
High level of discretion with sensitive employee information
