Video Teleconferencing (VTC) and Audio Visual (AV) Systems Management Job Description

Duties: You will be responsible for management, operations, maintenance and trouble resolution for Video Teleconferencing (VTC) and Audio Visual (AV) systems. You will manage complex VTC/AV system configurations and maintain video endpoints, multi-point conferencing units, management systems and network devices.You will review and revise engineering drawings that illustrate the system block diagrams, floor plans, and wiring, circuit block and power diagrams. You will act as the technical subject matter expert on committees, seminars, working groups, and meetings to plan and adopt information systems. You will critically evaluate engineering proposals to implement new systems and capabilities into the organization and recommend new technology or processes when appropriate.Requirements Conditions of employment: Must be a US Citizen. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support to ensure the success of combat operations or the availability of combat-essential systems.Off-base work as required. May be required to perform site surveys, special request VTC/AV support at various military installations. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code (Network Operations Specialist/System Administrator/Program Manager) proficiency level (INTERMEDIATE) The incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DOD 8570.01-M Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.
