We are seeking a reliable and experienced Fleet Owner Operator Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves operating tractor-trailers across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the highest safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, familiarity with different types of freight, and the ability to manage their own vehicle efficiently. Responsibilities
Operate tractor-trailers with manual transmission across designated routes
Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols
Manage route driving responsibilities, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries while optimizing fuel efficiency
Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance to ensure optimal operation of trucks
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo details, and delivery documentation in compliance with federal regulations
Follow all safety guidelines and traffic laws to ensure personal safety and that of others on the road
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules or any unforeseen delays
Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards for commercial driving
Utilize forklifts or other equipment when necessary for loading and unloading cargo
Demonstrate excellent driving skills with a strong knowledge of various types of freight
Drive and operate heavy trucks to transport goods and materials
Perform pre and post trip inspections and ensure the vehicle is in good working condition
Maintain accurate records of delivery schedules, vehicle maintenance, and mileage
Observe all traffic regulations and safety precautions
Load and unload goods using proper equipment
Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and team members to ensure timely delivery of goods
