About the Opportunity
PTS Advance is partnering with a leading MEP consulting engineering firm to identify a Fire Protection Discipline Manager to lead and expand their Houston practice.

What You'll Do
Lead and grow the Fire Protection discipline within the Houston office
Manage and mentor a team of Fire Protection Engineers and designers
Oversee design and delivery of fire/life safety systems (sprinkler, fire alarm, special hazard systems)
Serve as a technical expert and ensure compliance with NFPA, IBC, and local codes
Partner with internal MEP teams and external clients to deliver integrated solutions
Support business development, client relationships, and project pursuits
Drive quality, innovation, and best practices across projects
What We're Looking For
PE (Professional Engineer) license required (Texas strongly preferred)
8+ years of experience in Fire Protection / Fire & Life Safety Engineering
Background in MEP consulting / AEC environment
Proven leadership experience (Discipline Lead, Manager, or similar)
Strong knowledge of NFPA codes, IBC, and life safety systems
Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, and fire protection design tools
Excellent communication and client-facing skills
