Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist Location: Houston, Texas 77095 Job Type: Full Time | Onsite Industry: Oil and Gas Products About the Role AWC Indeed is seeking a high performing Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team in Houston, Texas. This role is ideal for a results driven professional with a strong background in collections and accounts receivable who thrives in a fast paced environment. The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for managing receivables, driving timely collections, and maintaining financial accuracy. Experience with NetSuite is required. Key Responsibilities Manage the accounts receivable portfolio and drive timely collections Contact customers to resolve outstanding invoices and payment issues Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and customer disputes Maintain accurate records of collection activities and customer communications Generate, review, and analyze aging reports using NetSuite Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues impacting collections Recommend accounts for escalation or write off when appropriate Support month end close processes related to accounts receivable Contribute to improving collection strategies, processes, and workflows Provide regular reporting to management on collection status and risk exposure Qualifications 2 plus years of experience in accounts receivable or collections Proven success improving collection rates and reducing DSO Proficiency with NetSuite required College degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred Strong communication and negotiation skills High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities Proficient in Excel and reporting tools Self motivated with a collaborative mindset What We Offer Competitive salary with performance based incentives Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan with company match Paid time off and company holidays Career development and advancement opportunities Supportive and collaborative team environment Core Values Safety People Integrity Quality Dedication AWC Indeed is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
